Erika Henry is a Lakeland native whose passion for cooking was ignited watching her grandmother prepare daily dinners, always finished with cornbread, sweet iced tea, and a candy dish full of Hershey's Kisses, affectionately called "silver bells." With decades of cooking experience, Erika's greatest joy is the moment others taste her food and smile. Her business, J'Ream Come True, is a living tribute to her first grandchild, J'Ream, who passed away at seven months old. As a boy mom to three sons, a granddaughter was everything, and though J'Ream never got to stand beside her in the kitchen, she is present in every dish Erika lovingly prepares.

That pound cake was on point!
Most people know that I cook to survive or for the art of it, not because I love or even like to cook. So when I came up with this year's theme, "Christmas Around the World," I thought of one person who I know loves cooking — J'Ream Come True Baked Goods & Personal Chef Services. I was responsible for Jamaican food (oxtails, brown stew chicken, and cabbage), and she delivered! We were very satisfied customers. I also ordered a pound cake, of course, because that's how it all started. I went by her house one night and had a chance to taste her sweet potato pie, so I ordered two of those too.
